2012 Volvo XC60 T6

Volvo's XC60 T6 R-Design is the newest Volvo variant from Swedish performance tuners Polestar, who work exclusively with the auto maker.

R-Design comes with a 3.0-liter, 325-hp, 354-lb-ft turbocharged inline-six, which has 25 horsepower and 29 lb-ft of torque more than standard T6 trims. T6 also comes with all-wheel-drive, attached to a six-speed automatic, kicking in 3,000 rpms - which propels it from 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds.

Volvo's new collision avoidance system, "City Safe," is raising the benchmark for driver- safety technology.
