One of the main drawbacks of battery-electric vehicles is their short driving range compared to their gasoline or diesel powered counterparts. In an effort to overcome this dilemma, Volvo is initiating development of a hydrogen fuel cell that is expected to increase electric cars' driving range by up to 155 mi.
